Qld: Fire destroys house

BRISBANE, Jan 3 AAP - A man, a woman and a child have escaped a blaze that destroyed a house at Hervey Bay in south-east Queensland.
They were treated for minor injuries, including superficial burns at the scene of Saturday morning's fire, Queensland emergency services said.
Two firefighters were also treated for a minor burn to the knee and heat exhaustion.
The fire, believed to have started in the garage about 2.15am (AEST), was being investigated but was not being treated as suspicious.
